September Client of the Month: Laura Bearskin

Congratulations to our September Client of the Month: Laura Bearskin

Laura was referred to Wild Workouts and Wellness by Team G (Kymme and Mike).  Laura checked us out by doing the 21 Day challenge for Moms.  After the challenge was done, Laura decided that Semi Private workouts would be the best fit for her.

Even though Laura had exercise equipment at home, she new that having the motivation of a group and the accountability of a trainer would help her achieve the results she wanted.  Since starting at Wild Workouts and Wellness, Laura has lost over 20 pounds.   She has impressed her doctor with her improved health and lowered cholesterol.

This year was the first year that Laura participated in Dragon Boat Racing.  She did not just participate, but her team took first place.   Laura said that she would have never dreamed of doing this until she started working out.

She works full time, she’s a mom, she’s a grandma, she’s a soon to be great-grandma and just an all around superstar!  We are so proud of Laura and can’t wait to see her further success.

Here are Laura’s responses to her client of the month Q & A.

Q:  Do you have a favorite exercise? What do you like about it? Least favorite? What don’t you like about it?

My favorite exercise is planking on the barbell, primarily because I was so surprised that I could do it. My least favorite exercise is anything with “battle ropes”. Ugh!

Q:  What achievements are you most proud of?

I started watching my food choices and training at Wild in mid-May and have shed more than 20 lbs so far.

Q:  What do you like most about Wild Workouts and Wellness?

Coach Carla! She’s AWESOME.

Q:  What advice would you give to other wild peeps?

Try your hardest and you will always see results.

Q:  Do you have a favorite song or type of music for working out?

No favorite music. It’s all good.

Q:  What are some challenges or goals you are currently working on?

Increase my endurance so that I can start running again; maybe see some of these muscles that I know I’m building. 😉
