Baby Wearing Exercise: Good Morning
This month Wild Workouts and Wellness is honored to be featured in the In Motion section of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
The exercise focus is baby wearing exercises. As parents of babies and toddlers, we are busy. From the moment our alarm goes off until bedtime we are go, go, go. Baby wearing exercises gives us the option to take care of our health as we spend time with our little one.
Today’s exercise is the Baby Wearing Good Morning. Here’s how to perform this exercise:
Stand with your feet hip width apart. Keep a slight bend in your knees. Place both hands behind your head.
Keeping your back flat, reach your hips back so that your body can hinge forward without adding additional bend to your knees. ,
Stop when your chest is just past parallel with the floor.
Activate your glutes and maintain a flat back to return to standing.
Sets x Reps: 3 x 12
Targets: Glutes, hamstrings, lower back and stomach
