July Couple of the Month – Curt and LuAnn
Congratulations to Curt and LuAnn, our Couple of the month for July. Both Curt and LuAnn are amazing when it comes to their workouts. Not only do they bring the intensity, but tons of positive energy. I know many of our Wild family love working out with Curt and LuAnn because they are so much fun.
Both Curt and LuAnn have seen changes in their strength, stamina, health and bodies. When they started at Wild, they both knew that they needed to do something different to feel healthier. They started in Semi Private Personal training and then changed over to Boot Camps.
Plus Curt and Luann just celebrated their 40th Anniversary! Congratulations to you both!

Do you have a favorite exercise? What do you like about it? Least favorite? What don’t you like about it?
Curt: Windmills and single leg touchdowns were hard for me at first and Turkish Getups are still challenging, but I like them all now!
LuAnn: My most fav exercises are band assisted pull-ups. They make me feel like super woman!
My least fav are Turkish sit-ups… They make me feel uncoordinated and not strong.
What achievements are you most proud of?
Curt: My blood pressure and LDL levels have gone down and my muscle tone and perceived energy levels have improved significantly.
LuAnn: I joined Wild 2 weeks after having surgery for thyroid cancer and I’m stronger now than I’ve ever been in my life!
What do you like most about Wild Workouts and Wellness?
Curt: The constant encouragement and direction from the trainers, the attentive staff, and the peer support from other clients.
LuAnn: I like the strength, balance and muscle tone I have developed since coming to Wild! I can almost wave in a parade.
What advice would you give to other wild peeps?
Curt: Keep at it! You know if you come to Wild you will glad you did (even though the trainers will kick your butt!).
LuAnn: My advice would be to come even if you don’t feel like working out because when you leave you’ll have such a great sense of accomplishment!
Do you have a favorite song or type of music for working out?
Curt: I’m half deaf and all my favorite artists are dead – so anything with a beat works for me.
LuAnn: Favorite music: anything with a beat I can keep time to.
What are some challenges or goals you are currently working on?
Curt: Changing my eating & drinking habits.
LuAnn: Currently trying to run on my off workout days.
